Melda Öncü, is an illustrator from Turkey.
She holds a BA on Art Education and MA and PhD in Arts on Graphic Design. She has begin to make picturebooks with a school project.
Since than illustration and picturebooks has become her main interest area.
She wonders and searches both practically and theoretically the structure of picturebooks, especially the narrative possibilities of the words and pictures. She writes and illustrates stories especially for children.
